Our Itinerary
Day 1
Arrive in St. John’s, the maritime capital where you’ll be greeted and picked up at the airport. Most flights will be arriving after 6:30 p.m., so we’ll check into our B & B and have a short orientation meeting. Overnight in St. John’s.

Day 2
Trip by van from St. John's to English Harbour East, the kick-off point for our boat ride along this magnificent coast. From the boat we get a glimpse of what we are about to explore over the next 6 days. As the coast slowly drifts by, we see the effects of thousands of years of glacial carving. We setup our base camp at a beach in Long Harbour Fjord called Pissing Mare Cove. Here we’ll enjoy comfortable wilderness camping in the solitude and serenity of this wilderness playground, backed up with the comfort of the “Little Lodge” if needed! The next morning is spent loading our kayaks and preparing for the kayak adventure about to unfold!

Days 3 – 7
A full five days awaits us of exploring this fascinating fjord with its cascading waterfalls and sheer granite walls rising abruptly thousands of feet from the sea. Bald eagles, caribou, whales and porpoise may be seen, along with icebergs, sea caves and giant sea stacks. We will also take time to hike to the upper rim and swim in the sparkling waters of the pristine lakes which dot the coastline.
At the end of Day 7, we slip silently back to Pissing Mare Cove, nestled between towering hills, with a backdrop of a 100ft. waterfall. Here we enjoy our last evening around the campfire reminiscing about the fantastic voyage of discovery just completed.
