Our Itinerary

Day 1

After our overnight flight from the USA we’ll arrive in Iceland's Keflavik International Airport. Our flight to Greenland will depart around noon with an arrival in Ilulissat at 1:15pm.Private transfer to our campground and it’s amazing views. The remainder of the day is open, but there is much to see around us.

Day 2

After breakfast we’ll explore the incredible Icefjord and take our cultural and historical tour of Ilulissat. You’ll learn about it’s founding in 1741, the Greenlandic culture, and life at 200 miles above the Arctic Circle.

Day 3

Another series of interesting hikes followed by a visit with some of the local inhabitants, sledge dogs. On this excursion you’ll join the feeding of a dog-team. Where you can see, feel, touch and most of all hear the howling of 20 hungry dogs. The owner will demonstrate the sledge, the harness, and the whip and tell about the life as sledge-dog in Greenland.

Day 4

Our final hike of the trip will take us inland to a scenic lake and small river, where the water is so pure we can drink it without purifying. Get ready to be awed tonight with our midnight sun boat tour in the Icefjord!.
