Explore the unique and diverse grasslands of Nebraska’s Sandhills – the largest contiguous grass covered dunes in the world. Our naturalist-guided trek requires that you carry only a light daypack as you explore this unique environment rich in wildlife and home to mule deer, prairie chickens, sharp-tail grouse, coyotes, antelope and a host of shore birds and waterfowl.

As in a safari, our camps will be preset and very accommodating as you dine and enjoy the wide open spaces. We’ll also take in a 2 hour canoe trip on the spring fed Calamus River to start the trip. The scenery is inspiring, the heritage and culture of the ranchers whose ancestors homesteaded the land is a story you’ll want to hear.
