Our Itinerary

Day 1

Afternoon arrival in Fort Collins. Our guides will meet you in the hotel lobby at 5:00 p.m. for introductions from which we’ll head into old town Fort Collins for our traditional reception dinner.

Day 2

Meet in the hotel lobby at 8:00 a.m. for breakfast, At around 9:00 a.m. we’ll drive the 80 miles to our destination by Gould. After settling into our comfortable yurt we’ll go over the basics of snowshoeing and winter travel as we explore this beautiful area. Evenings will be spent sharing stories and camaraderie as enjoy our delicious meals by the warmth of our fire.

Day 3

We’ll continue to explore our wilderness surroundings as we polish our skills. Today we’ll discover more about winter camping as we learn how to construct snow kitchens and shelters, and hopefully sight some of our four-legged neighbors who frequent the area. Some participants may wish to simply relax and enjoy a good book in the afternoon/evening.

Day 4

More exploration and skill development as we enjoy our last day in the mountains. As always we’ll do our best to help you meet your personal goals and expectations in this remarkable setting. Our goal is to deliver a truly rewarding experience and help you develop the skills, knowledge, and experience to safely and comfortably travel in winter. In the afternoon we’ll pack up and return to our hotel in Ft. Collins where hot showers and our celebratory dinner await us.
